The TWC7 is essentially a TWC5 but with an olive covered binding covering the brass wind cord holes. Waxed cotton technology allows this hat to be "washed, worn, packed, used and abused" without affecting its performance. Waxed cotton tends to take on a leather-like appearance with use, which varies according to the use of the hat. For many customers this adds to the appeal of ownership.
