“Had to ring 5/6 times before I got an answer then was told one guy had finished for the night therefor I had to wait to then be picked up by a van with 4 other people and their luggage then taken to my car about 5-10 minutes away from the airport. The email stated my flight would be tracked and my car would be outside waiting for me”
I'm sorry to hear this. Your car should have been waiting outside the terminal with the driver. We will speak to the car park to understand what happened on this occasion. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.
“I pre paid for this parking a month before using it. On the morning it did not work as it said pre booking didn’t need a ticket. There was no one to speak to and the only way to get in was to get a ticket. When leaving my outstanding balance was 85 pound to pay on Christmas Eve even though it says 45 pound on the sign and this was on top on the 45 pound I have previously paid. So in total I paid £130 pound to park for 2 nights!!”
Thanks for your feedback. After looking into this, you went to the long stay car park and parked there, rather than the drop off point to meet the driver who would take your car to the car park, then bring it back on your return. I.e. you parked in the wrong place and didn't call the driver on the contact number provided on your booking confirmation email which is not the fault of Parking Up or the car parking provider.
