“The book cover is fantastic—amazing quality, and the design makes me so happy every time I look at it. It’s quite large and feels like a proper book on my bookshelf, which I absolutely love. One suggestion I have is to allow customizations on the spine. That would add a nice touch when displaying it on a shelf. However, I did notice some significant inconsistencies in the print quality across the pages. Some pages are noticeably lighter, which I find disappointing. I prefer my pages to be clear, uniform, and consistently visible, but some lack that clarity. Additionally, I’m not a fan of the silk finish on the pages. While it does create a smooth feel, it doesn’t work well with pencil—the pencil tends to fade on this texture. Another issue for me is the page thickness. The pages are just a bit too thin, and you can see faint outlines of the text from the following pages, which detracts from the overall experience. After a few days of using the planner, I also noticed that the spine isn’t fully glued down, which causes it to lift when you open the book. This was disappointing since it impacts the overall durability and usability of the planner. That said, the Papier customer service team was incredibly responsive and helpful when I raised my concerns about the print quality. They acknowledged the issue promptly, which I really appreciated. On top of that, the packaging is excellent—so much care is taken to make the unboxing experience enjoyable. I’d be curious to try another product, like a notebook with thicker pages, to see if it addresses some of these concerns.”
