Long awaited follower of the Panzer IV first volume of the series, limited to the H and J, with excellent drawings, basic but usefull photographs, and precious information. Up to the high standars of Panzertracts. A bit expensive for what it is, but highly recommended.

Another excellent title from Panzer Tracts. The text is succinct but informative and provides an overview of the production history and the changes introduced to the Ausf. H & J and Pz.Beob.Wg. and Pz.Bef.Wg. variants. The table summary of the visible changes implemented during assembly from May '43 to April '45 is particularly helpful. There is also a brief discussion on the effectiveness of the 7.5cm KwK.40 and the operational/organisational history from June 1943. The selected photographs (two per page) and accompanying text clearly illustrate the relevant production features. The scale drawings provide multi-view plans of six production models and features such as the different cupolas, periscopes and the three types of schurzen utilised. Certainly one to consider for your German AFV library or if you have a soft spot for the workhorse of the Wehrmacht.
