“Slightly misleading title as you get a lot more than half-tracks in this volume. There is 29 pages including four view plans of the full track APC projects that were to replace the 251. The /17 (sockellafette), /20 Uhu, /22 7.5mm, and /18 beobachtungswagen are all drawn and described as is the recently acknowledged /23 version. This is a very worthwhile addition to any WW2 collection and also of interest to the What-If? band. The drawings are, as all recent additions to the series, accurately scaled with an edge grid so any DIY rescaling copier work can be checked. It goes without saying that the research is first rate and the photographic plates are beautifully reproduced on the high quality paper used recently. I'm very impressed with this volume even though the Pak 40 armed version isn't covered, I assume this will be in another tank hunter volume. If you have any interest in vehicles of this ear buy it! If nothing else it shows what dedicated researchers can find.”
