Although quite an old work, I was not familiar with it. I was very pleased with the content so much so I ordered the other two on Tigers. I have other Ryton publications, all pretty good, some exceptional, I would really love to see some wheeled transport re-published, the Achtrad for example.

First I took a hesitant position because there are same booklets also concerning a walk around and, of course, this item is not even cheap at the first glance. But I was curious and i bought ist. What do you get? First you see a durabel and attractive layout. When browsing through the book you´ll see the informations organized in chapters and after an informativ introduction about the development and production of the tank it leads you part for part round the vehicle. Most parts, even also some details are shown with informativ pictures printed in good quality; the pictures are collected form production, development and action and are catchy. I am not sure, but many pictures i haven´t seen bevor, so already this is a profit to he reader. Very interesting the pictures oft he interior of he turret and Motorcompartment. You´ll see very much about the tracks and the various wheel gear/ sprockets and wheel set , but more about the support wheel near by the Sprocket wheel would be nice also about the various exaust pipes. The book also mentioned and gives some explanation about the bergepanther and exciting explanations and pictures about the M10 mock-up used in late 1944 (Ardennenoffensive). All in all: I would purchase this book once more.

Panzerkampfwagen Panther 1 is a good textual and photographic history of this obsolete military vehicle.

I just regret not purchasing this and the others in the collection the first time around. These books are invaluable if you build the German big cats or are interested in them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was bought as a Christmas present for my husband, however he was so eager to get the book I let him have it as a pre-Christmas present. As always from Panzerwrecks an excellent book and excellent, efficient service from a company you can trust.

A new must have resource for my library. Plenty of great information on aspects of these intimidating weapons of war. The colour plates are great as well - could use more of them.
