“The text is very informative and the reader learns many unknown facts about the different parades held not only on Moscow but also on others important cities of the USSR before and during world war 2. But the real gem of the book are the pictures. Not only famous tanks (T34, KV, JS) but other equipments used by the Red Army: guns, trucks, self-propelled guns, armoured cars, even lend-lease Harley-Davidson motorcycles... Highly recommended!”

“This book has some fabulous pictures of the parades from 1917 onwards. A subject very rarely covered in other books. A lot of pictures that would be excellent for dioramas. The written parts are informative but the pictures are the reason to buy this book. I recommend it.”
