Not quite as good as the outher two books in the set which means it's only an excellent read. Great book in its own right but better with the outher two. Recommended.

It brilliant book all in English with plenty of photos and maps well written and completes my knowledge of the northern Europe campaign from the German army's side. A must-have book.

I haven't finished reading this yet, from what I have read so far this is up to the very high standards set by Jack Didden and Marteen Swarts in 'Autumn Gale' and 'Kampfgruppe Walter and Panzerbrigade 107'. The maps and photos are clear, and the book is worth the price, for me anyway.

I'm still reading the book and so far find it very informative. My main interest is the Eastern Front but I do like to read about relatively unknown battles especially from the German side. There are a lot of maps and quite a few pictures that haven't been published before. It's a very high quality book and I would highly recommend it. The only drawback is that it's a very heavy book...:-)

Another fine book, completing the trilogy. It follows the same format and style as the previous two books, and has a fine balance between text and photos. A worthy addition to any military bookshelf...
