I was hoping it would be more specific to the Takom Panthers but it is really more just painting and weathering techniques that could apply to any vehicles. Good techniques but nothing new to me. I was really hoping for advice on building these particular kits and any quirks encountered.

To be honest I was really looking forward to this title, however I was disappointed, not rather but genuinely disappointed. there were 10+supposedly devoted to it`s history, squeezed upon one page!!! One page of text more of half page pictures and two pages of cartoons (?) and in German text! Why!! Next twelve pages of Panthers (3) in museums in awful paint work! Are we not aiming for authenticity in our models depiction and paint work. So why cannot Museums do likewise? I cannot fault the beautiful models, but why upon almost every page must a MIG related product be seen? Do not we all know what a paint bottle looks like or is?? All in all over 100 pages, showing bottles of paint and other merchandize interspersed with pictures of the respective model under construction/painting... Pictures that `spread` across two pages I find rather cheap and such a waste of time, there are seven (7) of them, Which I feel would be appreciated more if printed in landscape format. Honestly It feels more akin to a MIG product catalogue, Mind you Takom are very sparse with/in their advertising, which I applaud. I feel MIG should pay` us` to buy it!! However, this is only `My` opinion and choose not to say either "buy it or leave it upon the bookshop shelf. I know what I should have done!!

This is an excellent book detailing how to model Takom Panthers. However, it will equally be of value if modelling any Panthers and some variants from other manufacturers. Service from Panzerwrecks was excellent - as usual.
