“Great book with all the info you need to detail all the little inscriptions on your model kits if your are a scale modeller, or just to decode all the groups/regiments/battalions a vehicle is in from a photograph you found or own. An absolutely must-have, and the included high quality photographs and captions show some interest in variation.”

“Supersedes the classic 3 volume Panzer Colours with bang up-to-date understanding of much debated issues around German schemes, all covered in a comprehensive, yet succinct way, and at a reasonable price. Includes many interesting photographs though, obviously, not as many as the 3 Panzer Colours volumes. There is no colour art work of vehicles, though some of the photographs are in colour. Top quality production values. However, my only criticism would be the very small print size used for the photo captions, much smaller than the small, but OK, main text. These are a real strain for the eyes. Sadly, this is a retrograde step, as Panzer Colours was very easy to read, with larger sans serif text and captions.”
