A short study of the Soviet campaign in Southern Europe - when they reached Rumania and clearly wanted control of the Balkans (which didn't happen). Some excellent photos (never before seen) and succinct analysis by Kamen Nevenkin at an excellent price make this a must.

Seems to be interesting (not yet read). Good photographs. But not a singne map ! It's worrying for a non specialist of the balkanic theater of operations.

An interesting look at one of the Axis defence and withdraw from the Balkans. This was a secondary theatre as far as both the Germans and Soviets were concerned, but for countries of the region obviously of critical importance. Rumanian and Bulgarian forces played a key part together with large partisan armies. This book describes the campaigns and the forces involved and is profusely illustrated. The rag-bag of Axis forces used a variety of equipment and there are plenty of photographs of this and their Soviet opponents. My only complaint is the lack of even a single map.
