“The rare, and never-before-seen photos combined with the perceptive captioning make this book a must-have for fans of German WW2 armour on the Eastern Front. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I feel that this book is a natural companion to the Panzerwrecks series.”

“Rare or even unpublished photographs of German armour in 1945, with relevant and precise captions. Unfortunately the photos quality is often poor (usual with Soviet photos), and only wrecks are illustrated. A bit puzzling to see a book with exactly the same size, structure and theme as our trusted Panzerwrecks, but made by others... Still, valuable photographic and information source. Recommended”

“This book sticks with the large format pics on high quality glossy paper which are such a winner in the Panzerwrecks series. I found this book to be excellent and am delighted to finally own a copy. Can't wait for volume 2 whenever that may appear?”
