“There are now two titles available on the esoteric - but essential - subject of winter issue clothing of WW2 German armed forces. Whilst the earlier title is certainly worth having this completely new title outstrips the older book. This volume will almost certainly be the standard reference for the Historian, the re-enactor and the modeller!yes, some may say it is perhaps a tad expensive but you will never have to buy another book on the subject and, almost without doubt, this will retain it’s value to the enthusiast for a long time to come!”

“Superb in every aspect. I have a number of very fine books on German WWII uniforms, and this is a great addition to my collection and fills an information gap completely. Having so much top quality text, tables and photographs in one volume is a real benefit. I cannot see how this book could be improved upon. Gerald”
