Very good vol on the emerging years of Panzer units. While often overlooked in more generic histories these photos give a sense of often basic equipment that these units went into action with. Good maps and looking forward to next Vols.

This is a quite remarkable history of just one regiment of the Panzertruppen, both in terms of text and quality of photos - and production values. Immensely detailed. The series will be well worth collecting, and presumably will be very extensive. It is a feat for which the authors are to be highly praised.

This has got to be one of the most comprehensive panzer unit histories ever produced. The early days of the Panzerwaffe are rarely covered in this degree of detail and the photographic support is superb. Details of the fighting in Poland in 1939 are well-balanced and very informative. The only problem is having to wait for volume 2!

The Polish Campaign coverage is very good, with many photos not known to me. Very interesting Personel list near the back of the book. Buy before it goes out of print.
