“This book focuses on a unique unit in the final days of the Third Reich. Follows similar format of any luftfahrtverlag book. You could easily walk the ground with this book. In German and English so it is a good book to understand German far better. Odd take I know, but as someone who has many books in German. It's good to see it being put with English in the book.”

“Pointless book. There's not enough info about what the unit did, barely any 1st person accounts. He traces it's movements & says there was fighting, but gives no real data. Why write a book with such flimsy actual history? Because he's got some nice photos of the unit after it moved & guarded Donitz. Then stick a whole section on the end about the type XXI U-boats. That's the best bit! Color pics of the dockyards. Rest of the book is just boring, sparse, a travelogue.”

“A fantastic book with excellent information based on unknown tank killer units made up of redundant U-boat crews at the end of the war. Well recommended if interested in the late war period or the German Navy.”
