This has got to be one of the best documented late war book on a single unit that I have ever seen. Great maps, text, photography help to illustrate the story. If you read German, it is there as well to get the nuances that may not be picked up in translation. This is a fantastic addition to anyone's collection on WW2. Great info for wargaming as well with specific scenarios well documented.

Great book. Very high quality of photographic reproduction. Learning at lot about this unit, admittedly from a fairly low starting point. The diary entries give an insight into what it must have been like at this time for those involved.

Excellent book about this rare unit…only fault I found is the explanation about Panther 332 which should be a LWS (last steel wheel Panther), but pics show a standard wheel Panther - all in all great book !

Great book about the combat history of Panther Abteilung. The only comprehensive source of the subject for today.

A really top notch book. Lots of photos not seen before and detailed accounts of the unit history, supplemented with personal diary entries from soldiers who served with the Battalion. The book gives a very vivid picture of a panzer unit taking on the Russians in the latter half of the war. More like this please!
