“I haven’t actually read it yet, but it’s in my “To-Read” pile and from what I’ve skimmed through it looks very detailed, detail I’ve never seen before right down to individual platoons. Plenty of maps, pictures, film stills & a few Then & Now’s to complement the extensive text (in French, but Google translate does wonders). Wish I’d had the book years ago when I visited Fontenay! :D”
