“An excellent book to the normal high standard we have come to expect from panzerwrecks. The book is in French which could discourage some. The content looks at each regiment and battalion of the division with numerous photos of the personnel and equipment at the time leading up to D-day. I have several books on this Division but still found some extra interesting material.”

“Yet again this publisher (Maranes Editions) has produced a tour de force. Many of the images have never seen the light of day before and there is the opportunity to see vehicles/personnel, before combat during the invasion, in a good state of repair. I will make every effort to acquire any works by this author until further notice. As this series is Western Front based at the present, could I please urge Monsieur Cazenave to deal with Hohenstaufen and Frundsburg with similar enthusiasm.”
