Now I own all three versions of this book. The first one, published by Air Research is simply appaling as a graphic product. The German version corrects all the graphic issues of the previous version but lacks the colour profiles of the recent Chandos book. As an operational history of the Bf 109T, it is probably the definitive history of the aircraft but the complete development history of the aircraft will probably never be told and I believe this is not the author's fault. The fact is that there are not many photos and documents detailing the early history of the Bf 109T. I have many good books about the One O Nine and the Graf Zeppelin aircraft carrier and there simply is not much material about the Tony. If you do not have any material about the Bf 109T, then this is the book to have but once again, be aware most of the book deals with the operational use of the aircraft and only a few pages are reserved for its technical history. Compared to similar monographs published by Classic, I think the Chandos version is too expensive.
