This is a fantastic book which thoroughly covers the operational history of KG 76 operating the Ar 234. Rare photographs presented in an engaging and informative fashion makes this book a 'must-buy' for anybody interested in the Ar 234 Blitz.

Very good. Covers many aspects of this seldom-heard-of squadron & aircraft.

Readers like myself interested in the combat service of the Ar 234 may be disappointed by the fact that the book is half over before the Ar 234's first combat mission with KG76 is described. Moreover, there are no descriptions at all from the Allied side describing the effectiveness or otherwise of the bombing missions undertaken by the 'Blitz Bombers.' Technically minded aeronautical enthusiasts will have nothing to complain about - the book is well produced and beautifully illustrated.

This book is an outgrowth of material author Eddie Creek obtained from KG 76 veterans way back in 1984. Some of the information and photographs were published in the Monogram (1992) book on the Ar 234's history, development and operations. This publication tells the complete story of KG 76's operations with the Ar 234 are told comprehensively in a narrative format and supported by access to original documentation. The photo reproduction is excellent as are the colour profiles. My only disappointment is that there is no Werknummer listing of all Ar 234s flown by KG 76. This would supplement to 20-year-old list that appears in the Monogram book. Overall, this is an excellent book and highly recommended to Luftwaffe enthusiasts.
