“The book is thin but well presented. The map is useful in that it can be detached. What I find irresponsible is the lack of bibliography - this author seems to make this a characteristic. Look at his 2 great books of Citadel. Most of is know that a solid bibliography is absolutely fundamental when publishing a book of any kind. You know there is so much garbage out there, especially in this lucrative market. We need to know that what we read and see is genuine and that any photos are pertinent to the text. Also the man promises a second volume. Where is it?”

“I was uncertain about buying this book as I’ve bought many which over promise and under deliver. This is as far from that as a book can be! Excellent photographs, well captioned, good supporting text, a separate map and very nice colour plates. As an armour modeller with a particular interest in this much overlooked area of WWII I am delighted by this book. Very good VFM, beautifully printed. I couldn’t be happier and very much look forward to Volumes 2 and 3 are released.”
