“I enjoyed reading this is very thoroughly-researched unit history. The collection of photos found for this small army battalion is amazing given how spotty and scattered most unit photographic histories are. It is also helpful to integrate the allied perspective and supporting historical record where they crossed paths with this battalion. The bibliography is exhaustive and very helpful for those doing similar research. I highly recommend this book.”
