“The book is well-written, with a good variety illustrations, easy to read and informative. My first purchase of an Airframe Album, so i wasn't sure what contents to expect. I've always had an interest in WW2 Military Aviation, but not really a modeller. The fact that interested me, initially, was the Heinkel He 162 was created out of desperation in the closing months of World War II and was supposably to be easily flown by Hitler Youth. To me, it was a beautiful looking aircraft. 90 pages in total, The He 162’s entire development, production, and operational and postwar use are covered in the Introduction of 20 pages. A lot of the information coming from evaluation of captured aircraft. Illustrated with period photographs and plenty of text. Technical description, another 20 pages, drawings and photos, show a complete, comprehensive walkaround, inside and out. I found the detailed drawings, detailing the evolution of the aircraft, from prototype to production, and also projected variants, very interesting. The Camouflage and Markings section, was very well done, but for me was jusy eye candy, not being a modeller. The same can be said of the modelling section. But still, i found it well done and interesting. All round, a first class book, i would recommend highly for anyone interested in the HE 162. I will certainly be now ordering others in the series.,”
