This is a fantastic reference for the enthusiast and modeller alike. It exceeded my expectations and have found it informative, interesting and useful.

Extremely comprehensive coverage of markings and cammo. Could use more color as it can be hard to visualize some things in black and white but otherwise the go to book on the subject

Honest and in-depth book. Promised much and gave more. For reference it's excellent and an easy read. I found it the most in-depth book I've bought to date. A few more colour photographs would have been nice but that's the only quibble I have.

This book holds so much information the reader was unaware of, it requires considerable study over a period of time to be assimilated properly; I would be unlikely to model German armour without checking with this book first. Most images were unfamiliar to me, the early war period in particular; if the author cannot confirm any detail, he will proffer an opinion but he will say that it is an opinion, not necessarily correct, however I would have considerable confidence in his view given the massive effort that this work required to complete. I have no hesitation in recommending this book to any student of German vehicles, particularly the model maker.
