“Very impressed with the quality of the book, the packaging and the next-working day delivery. The book tells the story of a relatively minor operation by a Kampfgruppe from the Viking Division but does this in a very engaging format. We see the individuals involved and the action itself in a series of chronological photographs. The quality of the photographs is exceptional, albeit digitally enhanced, and you feel like you are sat in the vehicle with the men or part of the officer briefings. Both the tension and the confidence of command in battle is clearly seen in the faces of the individuals. Very useful if you are a modeller or figure collector as the images show field-dress like it was, but this is an essential book for the serious student of WW2 .”

“This book is an excellent companion to Unternehmen Ilse,although a slightly thinner volume it has superior photos than the other book because they are from original negatives.Fantastic book for reference.”

“Очень качественная полиграфия! Большинство фото в большом размере и их качество лучше, чем у других книг по этой теме. Единственное, что не понравилось - это излишняя обработка фотографий в графическом редакторе, которая добавила на мой взгляд лишнюю фактуру/шагрень. Лучше было оставить пусть и меньший размер фото, но без этой обработки. Так же большая часть фото скомпонованы на разворот страниц, чего можно было избежать. лучше было за счет уменьшения фото увеличить их кол-во, что на мой взгляд архив фотографа позволяет сделать...”

English: Very high quality printing! Most of the photos are in large size and their quality is better than other books on the subject. The only thing I didn't like was the excessive processing of the photos in the graphic editor, which added unnecessary texture/chagrin in my opinion. It was better to leave albeit a smaller photo size, but without this processing. Also, most of the photos are page spreads which could have been avoided. It was better to make the photos smaller and increase the number of images, which in my opinion the photographer's archive allows...
