I was introduced late to this series of books, but having been introduced to them, I can't imagine not counting them as a part of my Library. The sheer wealth of information on the internal workings of Germany's iconic World War 2 Panther tank is truly stunning. It is difficult to digest the volume of information provided by the crisp, colour photographs, well captioned and of good size, in this book. I love the approach of not trying to jam it all into one volume, but rather, breaking the information down and publishing it over a series of volumes. This allows the inclusion of far more information than would be feasible if one tried to jam it all into one volume; there would be inevitable omissions in consideration of space -- but in the multi-volume format of this series, that's not a concern. I will be acquiring every volume in this series since I can't imagine my reference library being without the complete series!

I love all things mechanical and am also a modeller so this book provides plenty of good quality photographs of the vehicle in question and parts that have been restored. Great if you are interested in this sort of thing and a great modelling reference. I look forward to the next volume.

With all the panther kits coming out with full interiors this is a must have book. Good quality, detailed photos of areas/parts you wouldn't be able to access.

Great addition to my library. I purchased both volumes to this set and I guess I am a "tank" geek, love poring over the incredibly detailed pictures in clarity I am not used to.
