I picked 3 stars only because there was no 2.5. Dissapointing art work. The subjects were fine but the art quality was not as good as AK's other titles such as the Sherman or T-34. The profiles were too much 'CGI' and did not have that 'real' look that a more hand painted, artistic feel has.

Helpful introduction describing standard colours of the period with RAL codes. Brilliant illustrations. The derivation/provenance of some camouflage schemes wasn't as apparent as in 1944 German Armour in Normandy, and some schemes seemed like they might have been generic exemplars (I could be wrong). The section on paper panzers was fun. I would have enjoyed a few more examples of models in the final section.

Another great book to inspire your model painting. Would be nice to see a photo of the original vehicle being represented but I would still recommend this book to anyone seeking inspiration for your next model.
