Great colour profiles of German armour in Normandy. Inspiration for modellers with all the new Panther and Panzer IV kits on the market.

Aimed squarely at modellers, this book puts the spotlight on German Armour of all kinds in Normandy, 1944. The brief introduction refers to the battle, the units and the camouflage colours, accompanied by a good selection of black and white photo's. It explains very well the complexity and variation surrounding the diversity of camouflage used. However, where this book excells are the number of colour profiles with informative text that, to quote from the book, "...will be of great use to all those interested in those matters" Excellent!

Colour profiles showing one side of an AFV, but enough information to direct my interest to either further research or to accept that is the extent of the available information, so the rest is over to me! Beautifully illustrated, an excellent catalyst to get me looking at new modelling projects. Very impressed.
