If I could I would rate it 4 1/2 stars. I appreciate the diverse assortment of AFVs that were present at Normandy in this book. The colors are crisp, details of equipment give the model builder a lot of ideas. My only critique is that more of the reference photos used to create the vehicle profiles were included. Well done book.

It does exactly what it says on the cover, that is cover a lot of axis vehicles found after the D-day invasion in France. Some of the colour interpretations could be questioned, but on the whole a fine reference for modellers looking to challenge their painting skills. Well recommended

Excellent value for money. It packs an enormous number of high-quality profiles into a small space and at a very reasonable price. One or two of the profiles are not 100% accurate (I add below a colour photo of 21 Pz Div Lorraines for comparison with the profile on Page 82), but most are bang-on. Possibly a few less Tiger tanks and a few more other vehicles would also be a bonus: I'd have liked to see a Hitlerjugend Jagdpanzer IV for instance. But these are minor niggles and overall, I'm delighted with it....

Very nice illustrations of German vehicles in Normandy in 1944. The disadvantage is the lack of drawings not only of the profile of some vehicles with a visible registration number. Some profiles show tanks not from this theater of warfare - for example the Panthera No. 421 comes from Italy.
