Book is very good at providing an overview on the subject matter, I did however find some contentious captions, such as listing Tiger 222 as the one used during the battle of Villers Bocage. Overall very pleased with the book though.

It’s a good thick book packed with information about who commanded the tank, as well as good back story to different types of camouflage on a wide variety of German Armor

As always, top shipping and packaging by Panzerwrecks! The book contains a lot of colored profiles. Artworks are top and a lot of them are innovative. Captions are also very useful. My full review here: https://3945km.com/2020/06/22/1944-german-armour-in-normandy-ak-interactive-2020/

A great book with inspiring camouflage patterns, which will appeal to modelkit builders especially. You never knew what one can do with a mere three colours until you have seen this book. It is an excellent companion to the AK 403 book "1945 German Colors". It starts of with a brief outline of the Battle of Normandy, a table with relevant German units involved in the fighting, and a short intro on the actual colours used and how and when applied to vehicles. The bulk of the book are illustrations featuring colour drawings and descriptions. The chapters are divided by type of vehicle: tanks (med, heavy, assault), anti-aircraft, tank destroyers & SP artillery, and cars & halftracks. From meticulously applied to haphazard, from feathered edge to hard splinter, from intricate to just plain dark yellow, it is all here in this book. Due to the various units involved you are treated to a smorgesboard of Germany's late war top of the line tanks and armoured vehicles; oldies but goldies like the StuGIII and PzIV; but also second line units equipped with French Beutepanzer sporting very interesting patterns. The only downside to this book is that it does not come with technical information on the colours nor colour/paint-samples, as well as no explanation how the authors translated b/w photos into colour drawings. However, the aforementioned "1945" book does, so for details you could look there.

Some very good camouflage guides slightly let down by some of the descriptions and lack of full views

An interesting book/guide, 6 pages of to me new (actual scene)photographs along with many pages of colour side views. The `in balance` to me was the after page 64 with the increase size of colour side views, which (and this is my personal view) spoilt the balance of the book.
