“I bought this because I am not an expert on the DAK or the North African campaigns of the Second World War. I did however want to complete a North African desert diorama and needed some help. This book provided it in spades. It is beautifully produced, with clear photographs and excellent artwork. The modellers featured in the book are experts. There are historical nuances regarding paintwork, weathering and markings that were unique to the desert and this book picks these up. It is a great resource and great fun - a comprehensive source for any modeller interested in the DAK. I wholeheartedly recommend this to you.”
