Simply stunning quality production. In depth discussion of all the main countries involved in WWII. Printed on very high quality stock and worth every penny of the price paid. Level of research effort that has been put into this book is fantastic. Cracking addition to my military book collection.

.Great to have as a one stop reference point, let’s hope the other airforces, especially Japan and Italy, will receive the same treatment in future. .A brave attempt to finally address this issue in a comprehensive manner, some great colour photos!

I've found this a really useful reference when I've been working on Luftwaffe planes given there were quite a few changes in colour. The one glaring gap in my personal opinion was the lack of colours for Japanese aircraft.

This book was written by the experts in the field, led by Maciej Góralczyk, and the resulting study is a comprehensive guide to colours and camouflage schemes, which is a must in every WW2 aircraft enthusiast's library. It is a modern approach to the subject presented on more than two-hundred pages and illustrated with colour profiles, documents and dozens of black & white and colour photos, many of which are very rare. It will take me some time to study the book through, after which I may be able to give a more comprehensive review, thus giving the book the justice it deserves.

The book is excellent as a reference and even more valuable if you use the real colours range. The price is a little steep and if you are on a tight budget there are cheaper alternatives but if you can afford it then, as a reference book, its hard to beat.
