“Nice comfortable running shoes and buying a half size larger was a good idea. They claim to be waterproof but on a run the other day through damp grass I could feel moisture seeping through.”

“A very capable shoe in mud, wet grass and even snow. These are, however, terrible trail running shoes. They cannot grip on even slightly wet rocks and roots, I have never experienced a more slippery shoe. Even wet pavement feels slippery! Worse yet, I wore a hole on the instep side of the goretex within two months (just under 100km) and the sole has started to come apart as well. Also, not sure why Salomon did not bother including the quick-lace system their other shoes have. Very disappointing build quality and not very versatile. These will be the last Salomons I use. All of my previous ones have fallen apart but I really hoped the GoreTex would hold up. Unfortunately not.”

“A comfortable and well made shoe. It’s proved to be waterproof whilst having a good degree of breathability. It has a bit more room in the toe box and front of the shoe but still holds the heel well. The grip is great on soft ground but still good on hard surfaces. I followed the sites advice and went half a size bigger and it’s fits perfectly.”
