Good for the money but the egg cup design crushes down which is a little disappointing also quid bulky but I'm happy with price

Quality bit of kit:- used many mats over 15 years and then I found this (wishing I had it all those years ago) 10/10, little larger pack down, but worth the extra 20mm ;) super warm, and excellent for people of my height, being 6 foot 2, and about 85kg (13stone)

Hi bought this as I needed something bombproof, reliable and comfortable. I have had numerous self inflating back packing mats which usually fail after a few trips. Bought this as thickest mat I could find. I am a side sleeper and this was still comfy, full length without extra weight. Very happy indeed. Also I am 14 stone and 6 foot, didn’t spend whole night slipping off ! The honeycombed dimple structure very comfy for a lightweight back packing trip. Used this direct on ground with bivvy on top. Saving messing around with ground sheets or worrying about rough surfaces. The only negative is the bulk, but if you strap it onto the outside of your back pack no problem. I also used it as a sit mat. If I lose this mat wouldn’t hesitate to replace, but go for the plus the extra depth makes it comfortable !

Definitely the comfiest mat I've used. Although the peaks do compress down over time, this does seam to affect its function that much though I've only used it 5-6 times so far. Very water resistant too, meaning you can put it on wet ground or use it at the beach too. It is very bulky but that shouldn't be a surprise since that's the point of one this big and it's still very lightweight too. However, if you're looking for something that's easy to carry with a rucksack < 55L this probably isn't the one.

Making a review for this item seems a little silly as I've only had chance to use it once so far, it's a bit bulky but it's the nature of the beast right, I got a cracking nights sleep the With it though even when the temperature got down to almost freezing and my bag that was about hitting the the rated comfort limit. I mainly brought this to add to my summer inflatable pad in winter which I've not tried as I didn't feel the need when I took it out but if you have the space/means to carry this and understand what you're getting you shouldn't be disappointed

Imagine a giant foam egg box. the peaks are high and well separated, unfortunately even after the first night the peaks have started to compress down. For the price i had expected a better quality product. It is also extremely bulky. I would have hoped the foam used would be more flexible and resiliant .
