“Incorrect sizing, measured according to manufacturer before purchase extremely tight fit when worn around forehead causing headache, reading now previous comments these have been manufactured undersize, worn now so too late to replace, nothing special over priced.”

“I would easily rate outdoor GB 5*. However the sizing on this hat is appalling. I have another sealskinz hat (beanie style) its a L/XL its too big for me, but as its a knitted hat I can roll the edge up so it kinda fits. This cap i ordered in a large after reading other reviews about small sizing, measuring my head checking the size detail, and taking into account my previous Sealskinz purchase despite all it was too small. OutdoorGB exchanged for an XL without fuss, however the XL was only fractionally larger than the L and still too small! As I had already exchanged once i decided to just persevere with the hat. This was a mistake after wearing for an hour it became so tight it gave me a bad head. I've since measured the hat, it's at least 1.5-2cm smaller that sealskinz specification for the circumference. Clearly they've got poor QC and production inconsistency which is a real shame as the hat is very toasty and easily fits in a jacket pocket, if this hat fitted as specified it would have been 5*, very disappointed.”
