“A replacement pair of boots for my 10 year old ones which were well worn. The size 5 proved too short but the 5.5 are a good fit. These boots feel light and are comfortable to wear. However, the laces are too short and come undone after a while. I contacted Berghaus about this on the Live Chat and was sent a link to Amazon where I could buy new laces. I think expensive, high quality walking boots should come with the appropriate laces.”

“Bought these to replace Salomon boots and have also had Merrell boots in the past. They are not as comfortable as the Merrell boots and I find the boot hooks a bit fiddly to fasten compared to my other boots. Having said that, they are a serviceable, waterproof pair of boots and they do what is required. They just don’t have the ‘wow’ factor. I would not buy them again, knowing that other boots are on the market which are better for the same, or lower price.”

“I just love my boots. As a newbie hiker prone to blisters I wanted something very roomy without compromising on quality and sturdiness. I think these boots have it all and I would thoroughly recommend them!”

“Comfortable straight away, light to wear. Good, roomy toe shape. Waterproof them before you wear them for the first time if you can! I wear them everyday, stand up to a lot.”
