“I've had the shoe version of these a few years back and found them very comfortable but didn't rate them as an outdoor shoe. They just aren't precise enough for scrambling over rocks, especially with the big, clumpy toe bumper, and they're too soft feeling and cushioned when on rough ground. If I remember from my previous pair, the soles wear out quite quickly too (although this may have been improved) The styling is weird too and the squared off toe with rubber bumper is just plain ugly. That said, they're good for people, like me, who have wide, square feet, and I can't fault the comfort for daily use on easier ground or around town (which is what I bought them for really). The uppers seem pretty weather and water resistant too. If you have long, narrow feet, avoid these. If you want a nimble approach shoe for technical terrain, avoid these. If you want a soft comfy shoe for daily use and you have hobbit feet, then these are bang on!”
