“way better than the sawyer, too bad the filter dont filter as much as the sawyer but then hey you can't have it all. This is my only water filter from now on and highly recommend”

“I'm so impressed by this filter! Bought this as a last minute thing before going on a camping/hiking trip in the Peak District. I'm so happy I got it! It was an honest life-saver. After running out of water (I didn't prepare for the heat) half way through the hike, we were so glad we had this to refill our water bottles with. Plus, it was funny seeing other people's reactions to us filling our bottles from the river. We found many small streams that had ice-cold water running out of the rocks... it was heaven to drink from and wash clean water over yourself when in 28-30° heat. It packs away really small when empty, so I could easily fit in my side pocket of my bag. I settled on this product after watching many reviews on youtube; this site had this the cheapest I could find it and delivered the next day. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone looking for a decent water filter.”

“Opened up possibilities of extended days hiking without adding lots of weight to my pack. Easy to use, no bad taste, I’m still alive with no digestive issues following a few days use, cleaning seemed easy. Very pleased.”

“Bought the katadyn water filter recently for a hiking/wild camping trip after reading various reviews. Was really pleased with the way it performed, especially the flow rate. Since I have only used it for 3 days, I can't comment on whether the flow rate will be maintained or on durability. However, I am very pleased with the filter based on my initial experience.”

“I have had many filters over the years sawyer and the like this /has by far the best flow rate of any easy clean but be aware you need to replace more filters over time as they only do around a 1000 litres per filter”

“I bought the Katadyne be free from Outdoor GB and the delivery was speedy and efficient. I’m a keen bushcraft enthusiast and bought this prior to a trip to the Scottish highlands, the product is excellent and allowed me to drink directly from the Loch which meant I didn’t have to carry any water with me at all saving precious weight. “Bought this to use on a 3 and a half day hike, to save myself the weight of carrying water. Took a little bit of getting used to (figured out quite quick that simply submerging it doesn't really fill it; you've got to sort of plunge it through the water), but it was exactly what I was looking for. It's big enough to filter a lot of water in one go, but also small enough that it fits in a (large) pocket quite comfortably.”
