“The filter and the reservoir is good and I’m happy with that. However the stupid plastic cap is awful. It snapped at the hinge whilst trying to fill it, I was in a rush as I was on a timed event. It then leaked water everywhere and emptied itself. If time is on your side and you are careful it should be ok. But if you are expecting a decent nozzle to drink from DONT BUY THIS ONE. The Salomon would be better. Shame really”

“Before using I read about treating the strong taste. Overnight soaking in a strong vinegar and bicarbonate solution then bicarbonate and lemon removed most of the taste. Performed well at treating lake or stream water when wild camping in wales although I’ve no way of proving this but gave me confidence at any rate.”

“Bought this for wild camping it’s light, effective and functional, process’s water quickly and it taste fine, with no ill affects from Dartmoor steam after four uses, really helps when trying to reduce water weight! Great value for money and weight”

“I bought this to take on a wild camping trip to supplement the 2 litres of water I was carrying. I found it quick and easy to fill (from a tarn) and the water didn’t take long to dispense through the nozzle. Instructions were clear and it folded down nicely when not in use.”
