“Been camping with this a couple of time since I bought it. It's really, really comfortable to sleep on with no sore hips or anything from the hard floor. It's like your mattress at home really. I like the separate inflation and deflation valves. As a 10cm mat, it is fairly large when rolled up. The bag is easy to use, but you won't be sticking this in your rucksack while walking - but for car camping it's not a problem. Self inflation works to a point, but you'll need to use the included pump to finish off inflation. Once inflated, I've never had to add more air to the mat. Definite winner for camping. I think my partner will be getting one too so she doesn't need to take a camp bed.”

“The exped mega mat is so comfortable I've slept on it for the last month rather than my bed, its easy to inflate and easy to fine tune to your needs, it is bulky but perfect for use in the home, car camping or as a base camp mat”

“Well made, large and comfy. Bought for car camping for which its fine but you would not want to carry it in a backpack. Only used in doors so far, so I cant attest to how warm it is but plenty of foam inside so should be really warm. One star deducted for price. Its fair but not great value for money.”

“I had previously purchased the double exped 10 mat and have had the best nights sleep camping ever, I decided to purchase the single version for our daughter (she was on a 5cm selfinflating roll mat). These mats are worth every penny, especially if you can get them at sale prices. I can't rate these mats highly enough, they are very much like an expensive mattress you would have at home. Treat yourself, you will not regret it!”
