“Pleasingly non-technical. Not pinpoint accurate, but gives a good idea of how far you've been. Reading the scales is a bit confusing at first, but once you've identified which one you need it's fine. And which way the wheel has to turn.”

“I thought it would be of better quality than what it is considering the price, the scale is a little difficult to read as the numbers are confusing as to which scale you are on. After some double checking and getting used to it, it does become easier”

“I have been trying to find a quality map measurer for a long time and I thought this would be the one. I expected a robust tool and thought it would be metal rather than plastic. I also expected it to be in Miles as well as Kilometres as in UK we do use miles. The measurer does work but the Kilometre reading then needs to be converted to Miles.”

“only need three scales 1/25000,1/50000,(1/40000 harvey maps) do not need the other 5 that way they could make the measure simpler and easier to read. Get your act together silva for the sake of the hill walker”
