Works well and good quality. Beware of cheap copies advertised elsewhere! They don't work.

I've had a Silva compass for over 40 years so I knew their analogue map measurer would more reliable than a battery operated digital one so therefore ideal for my purpose.

This will take me a while to get used to as the dial is unclear.

A good idea but I found it confusing to use - need to get used to it.

Map-measurers tend to annoy me because they never feel as precise, fluid or effortless to use as such a fiddly task necessitates, however this one by Silva was as intuitive and effective as I have come across. It seems very accurate, is easy to read and rarely slips (except when I'm being clumsy!)
