“I bought the Cornice III jacket as a 'like for like' replacement for a very similar jacket from a different brand that no longer fits me. This type of rain jacket (i.e. with a length covering the seat, a drawcord at the waist and a two-way zip) is surpisingly hard to find, but this one fits the bill perfectly. I'm 1.90M tall and 90kg, and size Large fits me very well. Things I like about this jacket are the fit (room for layering but not boxy), the hood which privides great coverage and the single chest pocket which is very roomy. I would have liked at least one extra internal pocket, but overall I'm very happy with my purchase. I do want to mention that the delivery time to Ireland could have been better. I paid EUR 18.00 for freight and the package took almost two weeks to get here. Payable VAT and import duties are partly to blame but when charging customer EUR 18.00 for freight I would expect a smoother shipping process or be able to shop at 'fully landed' prices.”

“I bought this to replace my previous 20 year old Berghaus Used in in Wales last week. It was incredibly wet and tested the new jacket to the full. It passed with flying colours - Great Jacket”

“Worn this three times out in the rain whilst walking, once in what can be described as a deluge, no water came into the jacket, lovely and warm with the IA fleece insde”

“I bought this jacket about 2 weeks ago size Medium after exchanging my previously ordered Large size which turned out to be considerably larger than I anticipated . It is a perfect fit and will serve me well as an all year round waterproof jacket. I am using a fleece under it during winter and it is plenty warn enough. The waterproof built in features are brilliant and ExtremGB are a great firm to deal with.”

“I bought this coat just over a month ago. Since then I have been out nearly every day on our local moors. We have had gales, blizzards and horizontal rain. I have always been dry and warm. The coat is comfortable and fits well.”

“This is my third Berghaus coat. I like the longer fit of this style as it allows it to be worn over a suit jacket. I use the matching zip in fleece in the winter but just the shell in the summer. Side pockets are big enough to take gloves and hat. Breast pocket takes valuables like a phone. Hood unwraps from the collar when caught in rain.”
