“The collar of this jacket is so large and bulky that, not only does it not look good but it feels like you're wearing one of those neck support pillows that you might take with you on a longhaul flight. Please note the jacket also comes up large. Sent it back for a refund.”

“This jacket is a straight replacement for the same Berghaus one I've had for years. In all respects a superior and well designed general purpose wet weather jacket. It is ample in room, has the ability to 'zip in' a fleece, a good fitting hood and plenty of adjustment. I particularly like the breat map pocket. My only gripe is that the main zip isn't as secure as it should be at the bottom, and easily pops out under pressure which makes removal a bit fiddly.”

“I was recommended to purchase this particular jacket and I have found it to be a good buy. The colour, length and being waterproof with a zip from the top and also a zip from the bottom is better for walking. The pockets are roomy and the map pocket can comfortably hold both a map and my phone. I tested it in the rain and it certainly kept me dry!”

“Bought this to replace a 14 year old version of the same coat for my husband, he is thrilled to bits with it. He’s 6’4” but slim, the XL is long enough in the sleeves without being really wide in the body and it has draw cords to help size it. But most importantly, he got caught out in one of the recent storms, while walking the dog and he got soaked everywhere apart from his body, even his socks were wet ! So it does work. Just need to buy berghaus over trousers now.”
