This is my third pair of these same boots, at this price you can’t beat them for comfort and protection, keep them well blathered in dubbing and they’ll give you good service.

I've owned my first pair of these boots for nearly five months, wearing them every day throughout the day, walking over dry and wet road, gravel trails, through puddles, wet grass, mud. My socks have been dry each time I took the boots off in the evening, apart from that one time when the socks got splashed in a puddle. I was so happy with these boots, I went and ordered another two pairs while the original pair are still in great condition and performing to expectation. The heels are showing some loss of the finer tread detail but no loss of the overall shape/re-contouring. I comfortably sprint through fields in these boots. I can drive in these boots. I hose these boots down to stop tracking mud and grass indoors. Every few weeks I recondition the outer leather with boot cream. My minor criticisms (not enough to lose a star) are 1) that the outer leather is so soft and luxurious (like the leather you might find on the seat of a luxury car) that it quickly gets damaged by contact with rocks, brush, wood, yet the watertight quality has not been compromised. 2) The cuffs are low enough for splashes from careless stepping in a shallow puddle to wet the socks which then means the gore-tex lining is circumvented. 3) There is no winterised version of the boot. Walking on cold surfaces feels cold inside the boot (and to me, wet). My workaround was to buy another pair half a size larger and wear ruggedized thick winter socks, and that has worked for me so far. 4) There is a chance that you can get a pair with manufacturing defects (my very first pair had one where within a week of being first put on, the Vibram sole came off), but the returns system brought me full satisfaction (i.e. a replacement pair that did not have that defect). As with all new waterproof boots I buy these days, the first thing I did when I received these boots was to partly fill a sink and then place the boots in the water to the depth I wanted to wear them in to satisfy myself that they are fully watertight (pull the tissue paper they are shipped with out of the boots after to check for dryness). These boots passed that test.
