“Bought these as a gift for myself...best boots ever. No need to 'break in. Feel like slippers. Keep feet bone dry even in the wettest of days! Will certainly stay with this make (and I've bought many designs over the years!).”

“I love the look of these boots, the trouble is, I don't want to wear them outside in case I ruin them. They are composed of a soft nubuck leather, a bit like suede so they may be difficult to keep clean. They were comfortable from the off and have become even more so with each wear. I can't say how they perform on a mountain but are certainly sturdy enough for hilly dog walking. I also haven't tested how waterproof they are but they did hold out in a little light rain: I'm yet to go walking in a proper downpour.”

“After buying and returning six alternatives I succumbed to these. No regrets; comfortable from the outset, did the job perfectly. Muddy walks on the coast and in the Lake District - my feet stayed cosy and dry. Don't hesitate - just buy these and save yourself a lot of angst! I'm a half size so went to the larger size and wore two pairs of socks, thin and thick.”
