“The sole is down to the subsole structure after 12 months of ownership. They weren't used at all between May and September, so effectively they've lasted 7 months. I walk my dog in them so I'd guess 3 miles a day, 100 miles a month. So 700 miles wear on grass and gravel. For £140. 5p a mile. My Brasher's did almost exactly 5 times the distance using the same figures. They were comparable price and goretex lined too. So the writings on the wall. Leave well alone.”

“I bought these boots as I was looking for an option between my approach shoes and my heavier hill walking boots. This is my 2nd experience of scarpas and I am very happy with my purchase. The boots are comfortable and well made and can be worn straight from the box. The only minor wish would be for a slightly more cushioned insole but I guess I could always wear a thicker sock!”
