“I’ve had a pair of Berghaus over trousers for years, the thicker style, but the zip broke so I went for the paclite version. Since getting them they are great in that they are light and thin but no access to trouser pockets and quite snug. But they do the job so wouldn’t be put off, just wish I’d gone for same replacement and sacrificed thin for thick!”

“The first pair leaked within 15 minutes of moderate rain, the DWR coating was patchy and water came straight through, I tested the replacement pair in a bowl of water and they didn't wet out like the first pair, although a small area on the lower leg was still not perfect but decided to live with that, I would recommend any purchaser carries out this test as others have had the same problem. Otherwise I am happy with these trousers, they are a little small for a medium but being a slim 31" waist Just about big enough for me. The supplier, ExtremeGB ignored my request for refund of my return postage which they are legally abliged to do under the consumer act 2015 so I won't be using them again, it seems providing you don't have a problem their service is fast and prices good, read their reviews before using them.”

“I bought these overtrousers for my husband as I was so impressed with my own Berghaus Paclite Gore-Tex Women's Overtrousers, which I purchased last year. Being lightweight, easy to put on and take off (yes, even with walking boots on because of the side long zips), extremely breathable, comfortable and completely waterproof, they are definitely worth adding to your kit. Although it doesn't bother me, my husband would have liked pockets - but even he admits they are a fantastic product. Would highly recommend this product to all you hikers out there who want to enjoy your wet walks!”

“Use trousers for golf and they're ideal. Zipped leg means very easy to put on/off. Nice and light ,only downside is no pockets.”
