“Berghaus always fits the torso well so you look good in it and it is a good length - you can do any activity in it and feel the coat will do the job and look after you. Somehow you feel the part in it and you have the confidence to brave any conditions. The fit is better and longer than most other brands I tried on, although I would have liked the actual longer version which was not available at the time in Black. Waterproofing and windproofing is excellent; it is light and easy to wear anywhere. The pack away hood is a great design, quickly unpacks when you need it and easily packs away into the collar again - doesn't blow off easily, doesn't drop over your eyes and can be fastened snugly and securely around your head. I realised that large was bit too large for me personally and guessed Medium was my actual size and I exchanged for Medium with the Company with no problem, easily and efficiently - it is now the perfect waterproof for me for all occasions. Berghaus have a great design and like the external waterproof pockets for essentials. I would also like some slanted mid torso hand warmer pockets with zip fasteners, but maybe this would spoil the design.”

“This is my third Cornice IIIA rain jacket. The outside pockets could be deeper but it suits my needs, especially because I can add a liner in winter. The free repair service is also useful if I snag it on a thorny bush.”

“This is my 2nd Berghaus jacket, I had the previous jacket for 5 years, worn every day through the winter in all weathers without leaking. Excellent quality would strongly recommend .”

“Great jacket, water beads up and rolls off the jacket, when in a downpour, which you would expect with a new Gore-Tex jacket. Be interesting how long this lasts before needing to be re-proofed. A small bottle of re-proofer was provided with the purchase. Good prompt service from OutdoorGB.”
