Great bit of kit, to be used for wild camps during the colder months.

bought this liner as i already have the enhanced patrol poncho. will wear both in a cold downpour and will use liner on its own as a light alternative to a sleeping bag in the summer months.i wild camp in scotland and think this will be up to the job provided it does not get too cold at night. excellent quality. highly recommend.

I've been wearing this wild camping / bike touring / forest hammock'ing' at dusk and dawn as well as occasionally sleeping in it when we get the late spring chills. It definitely adds a comfortable layer of warmth. However, I find it clumsy, it gets in the way and multiple times it has dropped into water or nearly into fire becasue it is so loose around the bottom. I have sewn buckles on the front and back to create a sort of belt that has helped a lot by maintaining heat close to my body and stopping it drift off when leaning forward or touching the floor when kneeling. It's basically a blanket with a hood, could be better.

Use it as an extra jacket and in combo with my lightweigt summer/spring sleeping bag. Gives me an extra 5-10* comfort temperature. Liner, rain poncho and sleeping bag is under 2000g total. Nice on chill evenings. Have added push buttons mainly for use with the sleeping bag
